Today we took the in-class diagnostic exam. Please make sure that if you have not yet set up a dropbox account, that you do so before the next class. Specific instructions are on the class website under "Daily Assignments."
Why did we take this test?
The diagnostic, while it is UNGRADED, fulfills several purposes. The first is to give me a place to start the course. I will assess your organization, logical flow of ideas, clarity of explanations, grammar, vocabulary and style in order to get to know your writing and learn how best to help you this semester. The second, but perhaps primary purpose is to give YOU a starting point for evaluating and improving your own writing performance.
If you miss this exam, you will need to schedule a make-up session with me.
You will have 50 minutes to complete the exam. When you're finished, upload it to your shared, dropbox folder that I asked you to create over the weekend.

No homework, unless you were not in class on Monday. If you were not in class, please do the homework that was listed for today.
